HEFEI, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Tourists will be rewarded with free trips to Huangshan Mountain valid for five years if they are well-behaved and set a good example during the mountain tour, according to the latest regulation released by the Huangshan Scenic Area Management Committee.

Certain behaviors have been added to a "positive list", which include preventing others from engaging in prohibited conduct, strongly following their morals, helping to rescue others in danger and actively taking part in rescue operations.

By comparison, those who severely disturb the social order of the local tourism market with their inappropriate behaviors, such as provoking quarrels and trouble, spitting, littering, shouting and climbing trees even after receiving warnings, will be put on a blacklist. This means that such tourists could be banned from the renowned tourist destination in eastern China's Anhui Province for up to five years.

"With the reward and punishment mechanism, we hope to encourage people to protect the environment and maintain a good order while visiting Huangshan Mountain," said Ge Xufang, deputy director of the publicity department of the Huangshan Scenic Area Management Committee.

Huangshan Mountain, also known as the Yellow Mountain, is a UNESCO world heritage site covering an area of 1,200 square kilometers and famous for its peculiarly-shaped rocks, cloud-shrouded peaks, pines and hot springs.
